Network Security On College Networks

Abstract

Network security has become one of the most important issues in today's technological age. With wide access to the internet and a variety of applications being used, a more strict adherence to network security is needed to prevent system failures and siber erruption. The present study examines an effective network security solution using firewall topology. This study employs a deskriptif methodology with a kualitatif approach. The data that was collected was then analyzed to determine how to improve the security of the tinggi network by using a firewall topology. The research findings indicate that by utilizing the firewall topology, the security of the tinggi network may be increased significantly. It is hoped that this research can be a reference for other universities in improving network security and reducing cybercrime.
