Abstract

Assessment is one of the most important things in the teaching and learning process. Assessment is the final result obtained by students during one semester of learning. SDN Pamulang Indah is one of the schools where the assessment recording process still uses paper media given to each teacher in the field of study. This method is prone to human error and also takes a very long time in the process of writing student grades. Another problem is the absence of assessment data stored in the database so that there could be loss of student assessment data at SDN Pamulang. The method used for data collection in completing this study was to make observations and interviews with the school regarding the flow of assessment at SDN Pamulang. The waterfall method is a system development method used because this method provides a sequential or sequential approach to software life flow starting from analysis, design, coding, testing and the support stage. By creating this web-based assessment system, it will facilitate the task of administrative staff and teachers in the field of study in inputting the grades of their students so that it is enough to provide access to teachers in the field of study to fill in the grades according to the form given and automatically the data will be updated by the system in real time and this application can minimize human error and errors in inputting existing data, especially the existing data is important and crucial considering the grades of students of this school.
