Abstract

In the digital era, data security and system integrity have become increasingly important due to increasing reliance on information systems, making data security and system integrity a primary consideration. Mistakes such as natural disasters, cyber attacks, system failures and human error can have a significant impact on business operations. Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is a systematic approach to maintaining business processes and systems after a disaster. This research uses a qualitative approach to study DRP, network security, BIA, and risk assessment. With literature studies, I delve deeper into these topics. Focus on risk identification, impact evaluation, and strategic planning in DRP development, as well as integration of Cisco technology to improve security and operational efficiency. Cisco implementation for network security and efficiency, including testing of Cisco IOS, Nexus, ASA Firewall, and SD-WAN. DRP development with BIA analysis, risk assessment and recovery strategies according to organizational needs to optimize network performance. The use of Cisco technology can increase security, availability and operational efficiency of networks in organizations. The development and implementation of comprehensive Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP), based on business impact analysis (BIA) and risk assessment, can help organizations recover and resume critical operations after a disaster
